Swimmers Beat St. Marys 69 to 25 in Corry Meet
The Beaver swimmers opened the Corry YMCA pool season with a 69 to 25 victory over St. Marys. Coach Bill Cochran used many reserves as Corry won nine of 11 events and set a team record in the Beaver 400-yard relay with 3:42.7. St. Marys, in its first year, showed promise as several swimmers earned early varsity experience. The next meet is a January 8 showdown with Oil City.
