A 17 year old Corry hunter was found this morning eight miles from his entry point after spending last night in Warren County woods between Garland and Pittsfield. About 400 searchers from Corry Oil Defense teams Garland Fire Department and volunteers joined the effort led by Deputy Game Protector Thomas Felton to locate the boy who had shot a deer and lost his way in knee deep snow.
Corry Area High School A Cappella Choir and Girls Chorus present traditional Christmas music in a 90 minute concert in the school auditorium starting at 9 15 tomorrow evening. Kaylene Bliley accompanies H Lynn Rice directs featuring soloists Diana Schramling Donna Mortis Catherine Davis and others in carols and choral numbers.
City Council approved raises for three sewer funded positions starting January 1 1963. Sewage treatment plant operator will earn 4920 up from 4740 assistant operator 4020 up from 3080 and another operator 4400 up from 3080. The increases add 720 to next year’s payroll, bringing total city employee raises to 5749 with earlier increases.
Gabri el Richard Trifari, 46, confessed to bludgeoning his father mother brother and sister at the Trifari chicken farm in Howell Township after arriving at Lakewood police with blood on his face and eggs. He is jailed pending examination by a county prosecutor to decide on arraignment. He claimed God commanded the killings as the victims were “bad.”

Russell Ellis Bemis formerly of Corry now living in Youngsville received two prison terms totaling from one to three years and 23 months plus fines and five years probation in Erie County Court. He used the name John Smith to sign checks on a Corry bank and defrauded for $4 with a false pretense charge and a separate false pretense involving a $20 no account check. He must pay restitution of $43 and $100 fines plus costs.
