Funeral service for Orion Albere Stennett of Mead Avenue will be at Bracken Funeral Home Monday at 2 o clock with Rev Paul F Bauer of First Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery. Stennett, longtime Mead Park superintendent, died yesterday at Cory Memorial Hospital after an October 31 hospitalization. Born in French Creek September 15, 1871, he moved to Rouseville as a child and later to Corry. He worked in New York City wholesale dry goods before returning to help run BW Stennett & Son until 1929. He helped develop Mead Park starting in 1941 and was active in local hunts, fishing, horticulture, and merchants groups. He was a Mason and member of Crosby Hose Company and Stanford Hose Company No 305. He is survived by a sister, Mrs Mabel Larson, and several cousins. wife Ida Dell Richards preceded him in death in 1929.

J wiuaraum den a six year old Orlando contractor was convicted of conspiring to kill a wealthy widow in a murder for money scheme. He was sentenced to one year in prison and a $500 fine plus trial costs. Durden and Emmett Donnelly faced charges over plans to kill four people in Lake Wales and Orlando. Donnelly died by suicide after charges in June. Durden awaits trial on related killings.
