Floyd Bemis 41 of Findley Lake died at Hamot Hospital after being pinned between a locomotive frame at GE Findley Lake plant. He worked as a welder in locomotive and car equipment. An autopsy was planned to determine exact cause. initial probe says equipment shift may have crushed him. He is survived by his wife Gladys and six children, plus parents, two brothers, and three sisters. Funeral plans pending Spitzer Fueners.
Police hunt a gunman who robbed the Reserve Loan Co in Titusville yesterday, taking 316 dollars after posing as a borrower named Bob Jones. Clerk Carole Carson, alone at the office, says the robber demanded cash from a paper bag and tried to force the safe, which held 800 dollars. The bandit, about 30, six feet tall with sandy hair, wore a blue gray flannel shirt and gloves and matched a suspect description from prior Brookville and Allentown hold ups. The Titusville incident is the first since January 15, 1984 at the Pent Theatre.
