Two Bradford Plants Merge to Form B & S Company
Bradford Pennsylvania December 17 announcement that Bovalrd and Seyfang Co merged with Dresser Manufacturing to form the B and S Company. The firm began as a forge shop in 174 for field equipment and now makes diesel and gas engines gear and pumping parts and tools for the Bradford and Bolivar fields employing nearly 100 office and plant workers. Defense contracts are anticipated with Dresser’s ship parts orders and subsidiaries including Clark Brothers, Pacific Pump Works, and Dresser Manufacturing Ltd. in England.
