Erie County Students Home From Penn State
Sixty two Erie County students from Penn State have returned home for the Christmas vacation. They will return to the university to resume exams and classes after the break. College officials have arranged exceptions for some students to miss days before Christmas. A list of the local Penn State students is provided, including George Altman and Ruth Crossley among many others. State Treasurer Samuel Lewis relieved of a task to issue salary checks using a new machine beginning December 20.
