Deputy Injured In Jamestown Area Roadside Incident
Special Deputy Widland, 43, remained in critical condition at Jamestown Hospital after a collision outside Fairmount Grill. Undersheriff Moynihan said two suspects fought near the grill and Widland was later found injured in the parking lot with a fractured skull. Investigators search whether he was assaulted or struck by a vehicle, with three deputies assigned to probe the incident.

Erie Manufacturer Karl Glockler Dies After Fall
Karl A. Glockler, 60, longtime president of Glockler bearing his name and head of a refrigeration equipment maker, died after a fall at his Erie home. He suffered injuries Thursday night and passed Sunday at St. Vincent's Hospital, leaving 12 children. The firm originated in Pittsburgh and moved to Erie about 15 years ago before its Erie plant was sold to General Electric.
