Abbe Reformed Church Elects Officers At 1968 Meeting
Abbe Reformed Church formed by recent annual meeting with Rev Kelvin Kronemeier presiding. Robert Legters and Benjamin Te Winkle elected elders. Wayne Holthouse and Minford Hinsdale elected deacons for four years. 1969 marks 100th anniversary. benevolent budget of 16674.45 approved. Retiring elders and deacons honored. A lunch served to 108. Various church groups held Christmas events and social gatherings including tureen dinners and a 50 cent gift exchange with 20 members at a salad and dessert lunch.
