Erie, Dec. 14 John Dougherty 22-year-old ex dry cleaner seeks parole for a 1949 sentence of three to six years at Western Penitentiary after being convicted of assault and battery on five men in Erie on November 16 1947. District Attorney Damian J McDonuhlin said he will oppose the parole at a December 20 Harrisburg hearing.
