The Women’s Fellowship of Columbus Community United Church of Christ held its annual Christmas dinner at the Corry Motor Inn. About fifty members enjoyed ham and turkey meals. Members joined in a candlelight service, played games, and prizes were won by Mrs. Harold Curtis and Miss Rebecca Damon. Mrs. Jack McCoy won a final prize.

Corry to Host Erie Philharmonic Concert Feb 16
Corry area residents will hear the Erie Philharmonic Orchestra at Corry Area High School on February 16 at 8 15 p m with an afternoon A Lollipop Concert for children at 3 00 p m plus dances by the Erie Ballet Company. John Rossbacher signed the contract at a noon luncheon yesterday at the Corry Motor Inn, joining Richard Bova Paul Arnold Harold Bauer and others in supporting the event funded in part by a National Endowment for Fine Arts grant. The Corry Fine Arts Council leads the planning with committee members including Mrs George Gould Harold Maynard Mrs Joseph Seitz Mrs Clifford Buesink Mrs Richard Bova and Mrs Gerald Lloyd plus Charles Williams and Dennis Frushone. A ladies auxiliary is planned under Mrs Lloyd and Mrs Bova.
