Indictments in Phenix City Slaying Case Narrowed
Alii a prominent attorney and a former sheriff deputy are indicted for the June 18 slaying of A L Patterson. Circuit Solicitor Arch Ferrell and former Chief Deputy Albert Fuller face first degree murder charges, with a third unidentified man charged as an accessory. Trials hoped to begin January. Cement prices rise 15 cents a barrel effective January 1 at Lehigh plants from $2.75 to $2.90 and higher in other locations.
