Warren Sailor Gets 10 to 20 Years

Warren sailor Landers Landers, 20, Warren Pa, was sentenced to 10 to 20 years in state prison by County Judge Hugh V. N. Boutin for first degree rape of a 20 year old Fentonville mother of two. He was arrested near the state line tavern after evidence of a struggle at the home where the wife went missing. The assault occurred as a Navy uniformed man forced entry and attacked the woman who was at home awaiting her husband. Landers entered a not guilty plea Sept 2 and later withdrew it, pleading guilty after chambers and court sessions led by Willard Cass.
