Boy and parents awarded forty thousand in damage suit
Allentown Pennsylvania judge awarded forty thousand dollars to an eight year old boy and his parents in a suit against Gene Autry and four companies over a fire on a supposedly fireproof cowboy suit. The boy suffered third degree burns and the plaintiffs charged carelessness in marketing an inflammable outfit. The defendants included M A Henry Co Peer Jess Manufacturing Co and several New York individuals.
