Illuminated Christmas Trees Planned for Center Street

A concert by Georgette's Famous Players of music and Swiss Bell Ringers is set for Saturday evening at the Senior High School auditorium. Crash Ends With Man Arrest In Drunken Driving Case

L. K. Hollister of Clymer pleaded guilty to driving while intoxicated after a crash on West Main street in Erie county. He was held for 195 appearance at the next Erie county court session following a Polite court fine of 10 dollars and costs for drunkenness. Hollister’s car struck an Overland sedan owned by Steve Timko parked in front of the Antler Hotel, injuring no one but scattering two Timko children briefly. A crowd gathered as Hollister was jailed by state police and transported to the police unit for detention.

Deer Cause Wreck Endangering Shingledecker’s Car

Allegheny division correspondent J C Shingledecker was driving toward Deftwoor early Wednesday when a large buck leaped from Lakes to Sea Highway in Shippensville. The deer was struck and killed instantly, the car crashed through a fence into a log, the front end wrecked, engine split, yet Shingledecker escaped injury and sought deer hunting pictures.

Car Theft Probe Ties North Clymer to Jamestown Auto

Arrests were made in Binghamton after a Roy W. Hall vehicle was stolen in Jamestown on Tuesday afternoon.
