Erie Woman Found Shot Dead In East Erie Home
Odessa Meredith mother of eight and a caseworker at JFK NATO Center was found dead in a second floor bedroom of her six unit Erie residence on East 18th Street after a gunman attack. Police say she was shot at least once and died seated in her chair. An Erie man is being questioned as a potential suspect as investigators piece together events from the night. The scene drew more than one hundred neighbors and coroner officials assisted in the probe.
