Death of Mother Judge Rossiter in Girard Township
Mary Rossiter, mother of Uriah P. Rossiter and widow of Samuel Y. Rossiter, died at her daughter’s home near Girard at 11:00 this morning after a long illness. A native of Norristown, she married in 1867 and moved to Girard in 1871. Survived by five sons and two daughters, funeral arrangements unsettled. Miss Mina Forns noted as promising opera singer in local coverage.
