Increase Pay Of County's Election Aides 100 Percent
Erie County Board of Elections voted to raise pay for election staff across 147 districts. Judges 24 dollars, inspectors 22, machine operators 20, plus 3.50 to carry returns and 0.10 a mile for drivers. Couriers receive nothing if late. Cost rises 12000 dollars per election, start next year.

Jail Local Man In Morals Case
Four local men were bound over to the February term of criminal court after a hearing before Alderman Norbert Bachofner on a charge of corrupting the morals of a minor. LeRoy Hazeltine, 115 West Park Place, was returned to Erie County jail to await his court appearance after being committed on November 26.
