Corry to Consider Tax Levy Plan for 1934
Corry property owners may see a small tax saving in 1934 as the City Council considers a levy ordinance increasing the 1923 assessment by up to two mills. A 25 percent cut in current assessments enables the reduction despite the 1924 levy rise. Civil Works Administration funds may be possible but material costs must stay within a 95 percent limit.
