Alonzo Manges Died After Long Illness In Cleveland
Alonzo Manges died early this morning at 1 o clock at his home 966 North Center Street following a long period of ill health. Born June 24 1881 in Carter Township Wayne County he lived in the area most of his life moving to Clyde in 189? after marriage to Myrtle A Knowlton on April 19 1884. He worked at Loses shovel works and later at Raymond Mig Co oil tempering department for over 35 years retiring in 1941. An active choir member of the Presbyterian Church he is survived by his wife a daughter Mrs Walter Aultberd of Cleveland a granddaughter and a grandson and a brother E Monroe Manges of Warren County. The body will be returned to the home tomorrow and lie in state until Saturday morning when it will be taken to Bracken Kealing Funerals Home for 2 p m services followed by interment at Pine Grove Cemetery.
