Police identified the parents as Frank P Sousa, 35, and Parle Sousa, 89. The maid and the visitor remained unnamed.
A Fairhaven girl aged four days is reportedly missing after being last seen with a Spartisbury youth and another unknown man near 10 Snyder Chase. Police say detectives are tracing all possible leads and checking recent sightings as of November 30.
Special two course offerings Blueprint Reading and Machine Shop Practice begin Monday evenings from 7 to 10 at the Vocational School. Carl Wengert leads machine shop and Arthur Bieler coordinates blueprint reading with 12 enrolled in blueprint and 9 in shop. Additional registrations accepted. eight week units with a new unit starting later.
MEADVILLE December Higley of Sparta township faced Alderman Lémare on burglary and larceny charges. Prosecutors offered evidence about a heavy wooden tool chest and valuables taken from Martin J. Lindsey, Higley’s father in law, and traced to a Cleveland trip after Higley’s arrest. Witness Detective Vat Winkle testified that Higley admitted going to a store for cigarettes the night Lindsey left for work. The hearing continued.
Consumers of the Pennsylvania Gas Company report unusually high bills for November. Manager L J Noble explains the exceptionally cold month drove up usage figures, with November temps the lowest since 1932, accounting for some increases. A few complaints exceed expected changes and will be checked by meter inspections soon.

William Walker of R D 4 Meadsville drove an Oldsmobile north on Denstreet striking a legally parked Hudson owned by Clyde B Holmes of R D 3. The impact crushed Walker's front end and bent a parking meter and street sign. Holmes's car sustained heavy damage to its rear and right front fender. Police planned reckless driving charges against Walker.
