Oldest multistoried cliff dwellings found in Mesa Verde

Southwest Colorado’s Mesa Verde National Park holds the nation’s oldest multistoried cliff dwellings. In 1906 the area was set aside to protect these pre Columbian homes from looters. Cowboys Wetherell and Mason, while seeking stray cattle on a snowy December day, observed the remarkable cliff cities later studied by archaeologists.

World Bridge Olympiad tale ends in dramatic slam

The American side routed the Egyptian pair with a 1570 point swing, proving even a world championship wields uncertain contracts and bold bids.
