Milk Board Ordered To Produce 63 Court Data
Harrisburg AP The State Milk Control Commission was asked to produce records in Commonwealth Court today from a 1963 probe into alleged interstate milk shipments to a Harrisburg dairy. Attorney Harold Kohn said the investigation involved two milk cooperatives allegedly routing milk out of state then back to Lenkerbrook Farms Inc. in Harrisburg. Philadelphia supervisor Walter Salter testified he assigned men to the probe but hadn’t evaluated reports or actions taken, and believed citations may have been issued to Lenkerbrook and others. Commission attorney William D. Morgan prompted the court to note no other Harrisburg firms were under investigation, a point objected by Kohn. The case may relate to circumventing the Miller Control Law.
