Mt Pleasant hunter fatally wounded in hunting accident
Clarence Cook, 23, of Mt Pleasant in Franklin county, died at Chambersburg hospital from a gunshot wound suffered while hunting near his home. He was accidentally shot by his cousin Ralph Cook. The party carried him on an improvised stretcher to Roxbury where an ambulance took him to the hospital. he bled heavily.
