Half Million Trout Shipped From Gerry Hatchery

Supt Buller of the Gerry Fish Hatchery sent out a large consignment of yearling brook trout to St Marys and Pavia on the Pennsylvania Railroad. The stock ranged from four to six inches and several hundred fish were shipped. The Corry Hatchery plans to plant at least half a million this winter with more in spring. The facility updates and stocking methods receive broad sportsmen support statewide.
