Dale Vier ten, 10, of Snyder Circle, was rushed to Corry Memorial Hospital after his bicycle struck a slow moving car at Fifth Avenue and West Main Street. James Burkhart, 429 Washington Street, drove the car and saved him from more serious injuries. He suffered scalp lacerations and contusions but no broken bones. the accident occurred at 5 PM and emergency crews transported him to the hospital.

Work starts after notification and is to finish within 90 days.
Police report the tractor trailer driven by Charles E. Good clipped a car on East Columbus Avenue. Mrs. William Gay of Detroit was hospitalized briefly for shock and released. Rear damage to the car was about 600 dollars and the trailer suffered minor damage.
Corry State Police probe a Riceville Garners area break in at a service station netting about 300 dollars. The theft included tires gasolines tires spark plugs cigars and small items. Police have not determined the method of entry.
