Namath Faces Suit Over Unauthorized Trip and Bar Fight
Time magazine sports editor Charles Parmiter filed in Supreme Court alleging Joe Namath and two others assaulted him at an East Side bar after Namath returned from an unauthorized trip. Parmiter seeks names of two men to add as co defendants while Namath allegedly grabbed him by the lapels and held him for minutes amid intoxication claims.
