Warren police hunt missing young mother and newborn baby

Warren officials search for a 25 year old woman who checked into a hotel Wednesday morning and is believed to have given birth that day. The baby boy was abandoned in the Rogers block hallway at 228 Pennsylvania Avenue West. The woman is described as five feet four inches, about 115 pounds, with dark hair. Police say a visitor found the infant and notified authorities. Widespread efforts include pursuing this lead as investigations continue across Meadville and surrounding areas.
