Salt Suition Army Enjoys Day at Brokenstraw Creek
About sixty Salt Suition Army members enjoyed a day on Brokenstraw creek near Columbus. Dinner was served at noon, then games and contests provided entertainment in the afternoon. An announcement said the Warren County Rifle Letter Cherlers Association will hold a picnic next Sunday at the Weaver Dating Club, inviting all postal employees and their friends to attend.

Funeral services for Floyd Dowse
Prayer services in memory of the late May B. Davis were held at 2 o clock from the home on 56t South Street. Funeral services followed at the Christian and Missionary Alliance church with Rev. R B Lewis officiating. Interment was in Hoargreen cemetery at Union City. Numerous floral tributes and many friends attended from near and far.
