Three men from Scranton Linden and Dallas pleaded guilty in U S District Court to conspiracy and violations of the Horse Meat Act and the Meat Inspection Act. Seven men were indicted for importing about 10 million pounds of horse meat from Mexico and selling it in Pennsylvania Ohio and Maryland from 1962 through 1964.
