Friendly Circle of Cutting Holds Meeting at North East
The Friendly Circle of Cutting met at Mrs. Arthur Wallace’s home in North East with twelve members and two guests. They opened with a Bible verse and a flower, had devotions, sang, and heard a prayer. They planned to send funds to missionary Miss Rachel Metzler and named a September hostess. Residents and visitors from nearby towns attended, and several local families were noted for visits, dinners, and gatherings amid a storm that toppled trees on Rouse Hill road.
