Columbus Reunion Draws Large Throng At Balumbus Picnic
The 1941 Columbus reunion drew five to six hundred residents and friends for a picnic at Mather Pass. The Ladies’ Aid Society served lunch at the church, with bingo and races in the afternoon. Corry band led by Lionel W. Thorogood provided music, while programs recounted early Columbus days. Notables from Milwaukee to Warren attended, along with Warren county officials.
