United Press dispatches say Polish forces have captured thousands of Bolshevik prisoners as they press their offensive. Reports from Warsaw and Moscow note advances toward the Pruth and along the Bug River, with authorities claiming gains and strategic positions shifting as fighting continues.
A truck carrying twenty five road workers overturned south of Waterford causing one death and eight serious injuries. The mishap occurred late night as responders and officials investigated the scene. Injured workers were transported to hospital as authorities traced the incident to rough paving along the road near Waterford.
Aug 21 report from Burtonon states Adam J. Tpowghurtys, 7, and Mitchell Dale, 22, both residents of Anisgolpnt, died after a drag race gone wrong. The wreck occurred shortly before 6 o'clock yesterday evening when a rubber drag device failed on a local street, causing a fatal crash.
Aug 21 report from the Superior City area says twelve members of the crew of a lake ship, believed to be from the dledmér Superior City, went missing after a collision with the Willarding last night off Baylt Ble.
