Coast to coast aerial freight described as possible future
The article outlines a plan where a copter retrieves a fuselage to a airport and bolts on wings turning it into a freight glider. An aerial freight rain could descend from the sky as a farmer’s glider is launched by an aerial switcher to glide behind a serial freight train. Freight trains might cross the country circling airports using ready devices to swap gliders.
