A man killed by an auto in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville district last Wednesday has been identified as James W. Ashton Sr., 40, a steel worker from Millvale. He was identified yesterday by his son, James W. Jr.

Albion JPs Refuse To Handle On-Again Case Dispute
Albion Justice of the Peace balk at taking further cases from Albion Constable Robert Heiges. Burge s J L Gunter reports the JPs Glenn White and Florence Rizner accused Heiges of lack of cooperation and improper attitude while Heiges claims the district attorney told the squires to accept his cases. Heiges, Albion’s only police officer and town constable, says the dispute stems from personal issues and asserts motor vehicle cases must go to the nearest magistrate. The council may act, but Gunter notes this is a matter for the courts.
