Numerous local residents hosted and visited kin and friends over the weekend. The list includes Laurette Turga Helene Schultz Reva Marsh and Jamesi Marsh from Brockport New York, plus many others from Kane Meadville Ol City Grove City and Erie area. Relations attended funerals toured hospitals and joined family gatherings at homes and events across Corry and nearby towns.
Mrs. Charles Ryan, just discharged after six weeks as a surgical patient at Corry hospital, returns home to Union City. Miss Berniece Jaggs visits from Columbus after attending the World's Fair in Chicago. Mrs. May McCormick returns from Bradford after visiting sister Mrs. Philip Brown and family. Mrs. J T Piel and daughter Luella of Knoxville depart after a Swasksend visit with Miss Louisa Williams. Mrs. Margaret Wehrler and Mr and Mrs. David Frazier and children Rain and Richard spend Sunday in Corry with Mrs. F Crane then head home to Buffalo.
Crowds from Corry and Union City gathered for the funeral of E. H. Clark prominent Union City resident and president and general manager of The Haniel Clark Company. Services were held Sunday at 4 p m from his late home with Rev W J Eaton officiating private burial in Union City cemetery bearers included J Desmond Julius Johnson Orville Hatch Dr Al Sherwood Paul Mullin and Clyde Westcott among attendees from Corry were Mr and Mrs L Morrow Mr and Mrs W L Peake J Desmond and son Lawrence Desmond Mr and Mrs Hol Davis Mrs B F Starr and others.

George Delimon 958 West 10th St offers to pay the sum as county commissioners discuss the sale at Monday’s meeting. The old county home has long been for sale with varied estimates. Delimon reportedly plans to parcel the property into several small farms. Mrs Glyde Warduser of Pavilion NY is visiting the Childs family at West Pleasant Street.
