YMCA Plans Nursery School In Corry This Fall
The Corry YMCA will run a licensed nursery school this fall with Miss Ruth Dahlstrand teaching. Classes meet Monday Wednesday and Friday 9 to 11 for ages 2 12 to 5. Curriculum follows Union College material. Class size limited to 15, tuition 16 monthly for members and 20 for non members. The YMCA may expand to Tuesday Thursday sessions if enrollment permits.

City Police Seek Local Suspect In Theft Of Auto
A warrant has been issued for a local suspect linked to the theft of a yellow 1968 Plymouth four door sedan owned by Robert Marsh and to the larceny of about 9727 in cash from a meat delivery truck driven by William Cross. Police report the car was taken between 10 and 11 p.m. near West Smith Street, and the cash was taken from the truck cab in Kinley alley near Blue Lantern Restaurant. The suspect said he planned to leave town as police search the area.

Harrisburg AP Gov Shapp signed bills easing use of flashing blue lights by volunteer firefighters on emergency calls. The measure allows fire chiefs to designate which members may use the lights and restricts their use to emergencies. The bills also address snowmobile regulation, slow moving vehicle emblems, teaching certificates, liquor transport, airport land leasing, agricultural regulation, surety bonds for bids, equal insurance treatment for podiatry and chiropractic patients, and state health education policy.
