Butts Weeps On Witness Stand in Libel Trial
ATLANTA AP A climax in the Wally Butts libel trial as the former Georgia coach cried on the witness stand denying charges he aided Bear Bryant and Alabama in fixing the 1962 game. Butts, sobbing, testified his football data to Bryant was untrue and said his finances have worsened since 1961.
