Seven Hundred Attend Columbus Picnic Reunion in Mather Park
The Columbus Picnic Association held its twentieth annual reunion and picnic at Mather Park with over seven hundred attendees from Columbus and Bear Lake area. A basket dinner fed many, the Community Aid Society served seventy five meals, and games, sports, and a Columbus Bear Lake contest highlighted the day. The newly formed Corry band provided music and the evening dancing at Columbus Hall wrapped up the 1981 event. A future meeting will plan reorganizing for 1982.
