New Prohibition Rules On Medicinal Wine Production
Prohibition Chief J M Doran outlined revised regulations for medicinal wine manufacturing plants guiding enforcement and winery compliance. He will visit San Francisco August 26 to meet with Frank Mc Reynolds and California vintners to refine rules under the 1916 internal revenue law. He plans a tour of the Pacific coast to study juice production, home cider and non intoxicating juice allowances, and how legal producers obtain grapes while guarding the grape industry amid rising demand for medicinal wines.
