The Corry Chamber of Commerce Recreation Committee met at noon and approved about 350 for playground equipment this year. Beaver Club contributed nearly 50 toward helmets pads and jerseys. The group will continue supervised sled riding on Button property near Corry Area High School and earmarked 400 for fall recreation football teams. A lot of 475 is needed for equipment and the Beaver Club may furnish the balance. The equipment was originally bought for Junior high teams before the junior high merged with the high school.
