Babson argues college not accessible to all
Babson contends that colleges are out of reach for many worthy students and that corporations should recruit from high schools based on records and finance students through college. He emphasizes summer work, self‑funding, and home training, urging support for two or three truly deserving students who would write him.

Congressmen from traditional industrial regions bitterly opposed President Truman's plant dispersal policy aimed at spreading industry to endure atomic attack risks. Opponents argue it would hurt defense by draining vitality from core regions and triggering costly population shifts, despite administration claims no region will be favored. New England members led the unified opposition across parties against similar controls measure.

Tax Collections Run High In Erie for First Seven Months
Erie revenue officials report strong real estate tax receipts through July 1951 totaling 2 298 631 82 toward a budget goal of 2 367 296 1. What About Trust Funds?
I believe in trust funds for children and grandchildren but they should act as insurance. They must not exempt beneficiaries from working or being useful citizens. The love of work is a blessing and a 26 year payout could be moved to 40 with a bank co trustee. Trustees may use part of income for need.
