Oilman seeks halt to 60 acres loss from road by county
A. E. Hogset, oil lease operator on the Rouse farm, plans to sue Warren County for actions he says hinder oil operations. He contends gravel removal for the Youngsville by-pass and the resulting land loss of about 60 acres will restrict production from 22 wells and threaten future development planned to total 75 wells. He seeks compensation for mineral rights and delays, as litigation looms while a court filing is prepared this week.
