The annual home-coming at Wayne Valley United Brethren in Christ will be held next Sunday with three services at 11 am 2 pm and 7 30 pm led by Rev George Mulgin of Sharpsville and special music A picnic dinner will follow in the church basement with hot coffee and service provided by the ladies The event invites all attendees and features a full day of activities and speakers.

The Tri County Fair opens Monday evening August 14 at Erie on Route 20, occupying 119 acres once the Erie County Poor Farm site. Gates run 9 a m to closing. opening hour 6 p m. The new fair features a large livestock show, cattle, sheep, swine and poultry, plus a mile long midway by Marks Shows and other exhibits.
