Large moving van destroyed in early morning fire
A large moving van owned by A. A. Colt Furniture Co of Medina New York and its contents were destroyed by fire at 430 am Tuesday. Flames caused damage to the DuBois Battery Building after 40 gallons of gasoline exploded in the truck. Driver Lee Scott and assistant Norman Holly escaped injury. The DuBois fire department prevented further damage to the pottery firm. The truck, en route to Johnstown and Indians, had stopped near here for a rest before a grade downhill caused the steering gear failure and loss of control.
