The body of James Woodring of Erie will lie in state at Bracken Funeral Home with calling hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Requiem Mass will be held Saturday at 9 30 a.m. at St. Thomas Church. Burial follows in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Mr Woodring 76 of 221 Kelso Drive Erie died yesterday at St Vincent s Hospital after a brief illness. Born April 15 1892 in Corry he lived in Erie most of his life and married Bertha Amy in 1911 who died in 1952. He worked at Cli max Mfg Co and Standard Turnbuckle then General Electric as a machinist retiring in 1962. He belonged to St Jude Church the GE Quarter Century Club and Corry Knights of Columbus. Survived by one sister and three half sisters and several nieces and nephews. Burial at Pine Grove Cemetery after services at Bracken Funeral Home and St Thomas Church. Memorials to American Cancer Society.
