Sink hole halts Pennsy line at Gray's mill near Buffalo division
Titusville Pa Aug 8 The sinkhole on the Pennsylvania railroad line near Gray's mill drew engineers from Oil City and Buffalo plus steam shovels derricks and a wrecking train as they labored to devise a safe track. A submerged gondola car was removed after a second crane arrived. piles and pipe tests yielded no solid obstruction, and trains were rerouted over the old bed deemed safe for now.
