Big Increase in Amount Fines Paid by City

Since December City Commission hired Police Magistrate Shields the city collected 447.50 in fines. The prior period shows 236.76. Through 1919 fines paid by prisoners reached 247 while 198 were received in 1911. The new arrangement appears more satisfactory as arrests increased with the same period.
