Mass credit study highlights Pennsylvanias high living standard
A new study by the First National Credit Corp concludes 98 of 100 Pennsylvanians meet instalment loan payments on autos refrigerators and other durable goods. It notes mass financing underpins mass production and distribution and that 1953 consumer credit rose to about 60 billion dollars for 216 billion in goods and services, roughly 25 percent of spending.
