Jamestown N Y August 2 18 year old Strickland son of Mr and Mrs J L Strickland of 1060 Washington Street is hospitalized at Jones General with a serious spinal injury after a dive into shallow water at Cheney's Point on Chautauqua Lake Tuesday evening. He was brought to the hospital about 430 yesterday. An X ray will determine the injury. Dr F P Goolwich fears a dislocation of the spine with possible spinal cord damage. He can talk and move his right arm.
