Girl McManus Killed In Accident Near Ripley
Miss Ruth McManus nineteen of Pittsburgh died in Hemphill hospital after an August morning auto crash near Ripley New York. Her mother Mrs W J McManus was also injured a broken collarbone and Mrs McManus skull fracture. Mr McManus driver of the car was hurt and a young Girard girl escaped serious harm. The McManus family vacationed near North Girard and are well known in Girard with many friends.
